Tulips

I created this piece as a celebration of colour, movement, and quiet joy. The tulips fill the canvas from edge to edge, cropped closely so they feel intimate and alive, as if you are standing right among them. The palette is deliberately vibrant—pinks, reds, yellows, and soft whites layered together—allowing the flowers to glow from within. I wanted the painting to feel expressive and emotional rather than polished, capturing how flowers feel to me rather than how they appear in a photograph. Overall, this piece reflects my love of bold colour and organic forms. It speaks of growth, warmth, and the quiet joy that flowers always seem to carry with them.

Ho creato quest’opera come una celebrazione del colore, del movimento e di una gioia silenziosa. I tulipani riempiono la tela da bordo a bordo, tagliati da vicino per trasmettere un senso di intimità e vitalità, come se l’osservatore si trovasse immerso tra di essi. La tavolozza è volutamente vibrante — rosa, rossi, gialli e bianchi delicati sovrapposti — permettendo ai fiori di brillare dall’interno. Ho voluto che il dipinto fosse espressivo ed emotivo piuttosto che levigato, catturando ciò che i fiori rappresentano per me più che il loro aspetto fotografico. Nel complesso, quest’opera riflette il mio amore per il colore intenso e le forme organiche. Parla di crescita, calore e di quella gioia silenziosa che i fiori sembrano sempre portare con sé.
